- This Political cartoon is untitled. If I were to name it though it would be “Beneficial Reasons for the to Government Close.” I would title it this because the man is clearly hoping that the government shuts down so that he doesn’t need to pay taxes.

- The husband is watching TV and has his fingers crossed; his wife in the background is saying they will still to have to pay their taxes if the Government shuts down.
- The message of this cartoon is that a lot of programs will be affected if the government were to shut down. I think this cartoon is ideology unbiased.
- This cartoon is related to current events because it is based off the recent possible Government closure. In class we talked about how we would be affected personally if the Government were to shut down, and the main thing was money next year for college, but the Government didn’t shut so we don’t need to worry.

If I were to give it a title though it would be “2012 GOP Presidential Hopefuls.” I would title it this because one it says it one the hood of the clown car and also because it has members of the Tea Party and an elephant checking them off on what appears to a list.
